What Does It Cost?

There are three components to PBM Advantage™ fees - installation, monthly operations, and postage and mailing fees.

1) There is a one-time installation charge. This fee represents the programming of your practices files and time & effort of PBM staff to bring your offices to full operations under PBM Advantage™'s network.

2) Monthly operational fee represents PBM Advantage™'s ongoing services, which include:

• On-line access to PBM Advantage™'s shared network from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Expert technical and medical office support for your staff
• Operation of all PBM Advantage™ applications - patient registration, appointment scheduling, charge posting, billing, electronic claims, payment posting, patient and insurance correspondence, delinquent account collection, operational and management reporting, etc.
• Computer operations requirements - system software maintenance, daily backups, data recovery procedures, off-site data storage, system error detection and operations, staging and production of print jobs, etc.

This monthly operational fee does not change during the initial term of the Agreement, as long as the level of providers, locations, and terminals do not change.

3) Postage and mailing fees represent volume-related expenses which PBM Advantage™ incurs in collating, stuffing, sealing, and mailing all hard copy insurance claims, patient correspondence - statements and letters, and electronic claims.
